Kelly Clarkson got engaged to Brandon Blackstock over the weekend and then posted this photo of her massive engagement ring on WhoSay.

“It’s a yellow canary diamond with diamonds around it and Brandon designed it with Johnathon Arndt,” the original American Idol winner wrote on WhoSay. “They did an amazing job! I can’t wait to make Brandon’s ring with Johnathon as well!”

Blackstock is Reba McEntire’s stepson  and has two children from a previous relationship. We wish all the happiness in the world for the husband and wife to be.

X Factor and Extra host Mario Lopez appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and showed photos and videos from this weekend’s wedding to long-time love Courtney Mazza.

Lopez said he wanted everyone to say, “this was the best wedding I’ve ever been to” and to accomplish that, the host held the wedding ceremony at the home of Joe Francis, the founder of Girls Gone Wild! He also had a Mariachi band, salsa dancing and music by ‘Fine By Me’ singer, Andy Grammer! By the end of the wedding held in Mexico, everyone jumped or was pushed in to the swimming pool, including guest Eva Longoria and the blushing bride in her wedding gown by Ines Di Santo. When the subject of marriage recently came up, Brad told People, “I am getting more pressure from my kids, and it is something I want to do within their lifetime, but I also feel like the time has come!”

“The time is nigh,” he explained. “It’s soon. I got a good feeling about it.” For all you Jolie-Pitt watchers, neither Brad or Angelina have yet given us a firm wedding date. But, with Christmas fast approaching, I can’t help but think the two will get married on that day to give the best present ever to their six children.
