Kristen Stewart Of Twilight Apologizes For Comments Re: Looking Like A Rape Victim
Twilight fans know all too well that Kristen Stewart is camera-shy when it comes to paparazzi but she may have stepped over the line with some fans and rape-victims groups earlier in the week for comments she made to Britain’s Elle Magazine about media photos of herself: “The photos are so…I feel like I’m looking at someone being raped…A lot of the time I can’t handle it.” Yesterday, Kristen publicly apologized for those remarks, saying she had made “an enormous mistake.”
Poor Kristen–I am sure these chain of events only lead to her wanting to be more reclusive. Guess she had no idea when she filmed the first Twilight movie that she would be the subject of such intense media scrutiny. Now that she has apologized, let’s move on to happier things and count down the days to June 30th when we will all be reunited with our favorites: Bella, Edward and Jacob. ![]()
The group on Friday said it “appreciates Kristen Stewart’s sincere apology regarding these comments” and looked forward to working with her again in the future.
Stewart and her co-star Robert Pattinson became international teen idols starting in late 2008 after the success of the first “Twilight” movie, about the love affair between a shy high school student and a vampire.
But Stewart has complained frequently about the effect on her personal life of the three movies based on the best-selling books of Stephenie Meyer. A fourth movie “Breaking Dawn” is due for release in November 2011.

Oh no! My t.v. life will never be the same. 7 hours of Martha Stewart’s lifestyle each week day? What are the people at Hallmark thinking? It would be like standing in the greeting card aisle surrounded by birthday, anniversary, graduation and other sundry notes. This could start a bad trend.
Martha has her ideas of a lifestyle, but that doesn’t mean that most people want to live that way. A lot of these shows will be watched by an older audience, but then at night they want to aim their shows at the youth that all t.v. is constantly courting.
How much is Martha going to make from all of this. And the bigger question is how much does she need? It sounds very selfish to me when someone has this much going on. It is just like Oprah when she gets her own network. How much money does she need to make? How many houses do these ladies need? I know they give a lot to charity, but still they have fortunes.
I live a very good life at $887 a month. I couldn’t stand myself if I felt I deserved or had to have all that they do.

God bless Martha and Oprah. No one gave them anything! They worked hard to get to where they are. I do agree that they both could give so much more back to society. When you have much, Much is expected! Go girls!

How much of Martha Stewart do we have to put up with? One day of her was enough. This is totally stupid. Put the Waltons,Little House on the Prairie back on. It’s a lot more entertaining. Or put good movies on. Isn’t this suppose to be a movie channel?

I agree. Please take Martha Stewart off the air. She is on much too much. Five hours is too much. You could at least put something on better than her. I used to enjoy the Hallmark Channel during the day, except you now you put a white collar criminal on, instead of something entertaining. Enough is enough. Please reconsider and put on something more enjoyable.

This Kristen Stewart has made a foolish comment. She does not know the pain of rape. She only knows the pain of being a terrible actress who has become famous. Wampum does not know why she is famous. Wampum’s mule does not know why she is famous. But Wampum’s mule is a better actor than this Kristen Stewart. HA! This comment has amused us. This article has not.

She is such a immature child. If she hates the career that she’s chosen for herself then she needs to pick a new one or shutup & deal with what comes with being famous. And the rape comment, please. She needs to really stop throwing that comment around before someone that has gotten raped gets in her face about it one day & hurts her feelings.

Common May Be A Hip-Hop Artist & An A-List Actor, But He Is Also The Coolest Celeb I Ever Met
I also told Common all about CelebMagnet.com and how I use the site to promote artists that not only create great art but who also make a positive contribution in the world as well. He encouraged me and said, “Just keep doing your thing girl, keep doing your thing.” Thanks Common, I think I will. I had no business cards on me, so, I made a hand-made one for him and he promised to check out my site. Common, are you here? If you are, I want to say I love the idea behind your Common Ground Foundation and would love to do an interview with you about it. From what I understand, the foundation is dedicated to empowering youth in urban neighborhoods and providing life skills needed to achieve their dreams and gain confidence and self-respect. I wish we had more time to talk about this in particular, but there were many people he needed to speak with last night. We took some pictures and with that, I bade farewell, to a very nice gentleman whom I can only hope to run into again. For the rest of the story on the other celebrities I met the same night, look at posting for June 2, 2010.

Do I Dare Admit That I Would Not Mind If The Boston Celtics Beat The LA Lakers In The NBA Finals?
(Please forgive me my British friends. This is all a classic case of: “I swear, it was me; it really had nothing to do with you.”). As a newbie Los Angelean, I don’t know….I just can’t yet get into the Lakers…So, I’m gonna play the devil’s advocate, and say, I wouldn’t hate it if the Boston Celtics won the finals.
I say this as I recall a day not too long ago when the Boston Celtics – the entire team- made a very sad me a very happy girl. In 2007, I was stationed in London for two months; and I think I hated all but possibly 800 minutes of that entire 2-month period. I missed my family, my friends, my dog, my bed, a boy I was just getting to know before I left, my American TV and football in particular. I hated the rain, missed the sun; hated the food, missed my American-made Diet Coke. And no one could understand my accent, nor could I understand theirs. ARGH. Hated it all. Especially the Tate Modern museum, but, I won’t go there now…
So, on many Sundays, I would take “Bus #9 to Aldwych” and go to the “Sports Cafe” in Piccadilly Circus in London just to watch American football, and be surrounded by other Americans who were like me; misplaced. I’d go by myself, but always ended up leaving with “friends” I had made there. Well, one day, a whole slew of green and white jersey-wearing tall men entered the Sports Cafe, and despite the fact that the bar was a multi-level large place, walked straight into my section and took three booths right next to me.
They must have felt the pull of the Celeb Magnet, sad magnet and all. It turns out, the Boston Celtics were playing an exhibition game in London. And just like that, in a matter of a minute, I had 10+ slices of home sitting next to me–speaking in an accent I understood and better yet, who understood me…Thank you Celtics for the kindness you showed that day. I don’t think it was a coincidence that you won the National Championship the very same season, considering the deplorable season you all suffered from the year before our meeting….You may have shocked everyone else with your amazing turn-around in one season, but you didn’t shock me. Karma. LOL…
