Modern Family‘s Sofia Vergara is hilarious…even when we don’t understand half the words coming out of her mouth. But seems like she even has a hard time understanding herself. No matter, it all works for this sultry sexy Latin lady.
Sofia graces the cover of Ocean Drive magazine as their 18th anniversary cover girl. In the mag, she says: “One of the things I’m very proud of is the fact that I am representing Latin culture with an accent so strong that I don’t understand half the things I say myself, but it’s good that there can be a loud Latina woman acting crazy on American television. America is ready for more Latin culture mixed in with its own.”
I agree, you are very good for American Television Sofia! And anyone who does not watch Modern Family is missing out not only on this Latin beauty but also on one of the best casts ever assembled for TV!
This is actually a little on the disturbing side! As much as I liked Jersey Shore‘s Nicole “Snooki” Polizziwhen I met her last week, there is just something wrong with a little girl being Snooki’d to look like the tiny little realty star.
“You are never too young to look bangin!” Snooki is seen telling 11-year-old Jessica in the video below before making her over to look like a mini-me guidette version of herself.
Heidi Klum is out as the face of Ann Taylor, Katie Holmes is in!

Holmes says, “I’ve been a fan of Ann Taylor since I was ayoung girl. I grew up loving the clothes…and am really excited to be the face of Ann Taylor for the spring season. I am thrilled to be part of a brand I believe in.”
John Travoltaand wife Kelly Preston welcomed baby Benjamin into their family last November.
Hello! features pictures of the happy family and quotes Travolta as saying, “For us it’s been uplifting. Especially when he smiles at me and seems contented in my arms. He’s given the house a renewed spirit and purpose.”
When I first heard that Justin Bieber is launching a line of nail polish, I KNEW it would be a success, despite the obvious: What would a 16-year-old boy know about nail polish?
Well, apparently, I was right, and the Biebs does in fact know a lot about nail color because his One Less Lonely Girl nail polish line made by OPI has sold out at the 3,000 Wal-Mart stores where it was exclusively being sold throughout the holidays.
A Wal-Mart rep said: “The call center in Bentonville was flooded and flooded with calls with people wanting to know where they could get the nail polish. We just couldn’t keep up.”
Bieber already sells bedding, books, toys, oh, ya, and music. So, what’s next? Seems to me he can sell anything to anyone under the age of 16, so, go forth young lad – why stop at nail polish? You could have a whole makeup line at your fingertips. Maybe Bieber is just what the retail industry needs to get us out of this recession once and for all! Shoot, go ahead and slap his name and pretty face on whatever you can. Sell Sell Sell! Go Biebs!
Russell Brandhas been named the “Fun Fearless Male of the Year” by Cosmopolitan and, so, he graces the cover of next month’s issue. In the interview for the cover, Brand talks about marriage to Katy Perry, when he knew he was in love, and his new Cosmo accolade!
On his marriage with Katy Perry: “It’s amazing! Once you’ve said those things about commitment, you think, Well, it doesn’t matter if we have some disagreement about what should go where in the fridge. You’re married now, so you’ll just have to deal.”
On when he fell in love: “Well, she threw a bottle at my head when we first met, and she’s been doing that in some form or another ever since. The woman I fell in love with is constantly evolving and changing. She’s loving and a beautiful person.” On the most fun and fearless thing he’s ever done: “It’s pretty wild that I’m going to spend the rest of my life with Katy.” On his new Cosmo accolade: “So long as there’s time, I’d like to be the fun and fearless male of that time. … Fun and fearless are what are going to define the upcoming decade for me.”
Mark Wahlbergadmits he used to like smoking weed but gave it all up for his kids.
When accepting Variety’s Indie Impact Award at the Palm Springs Film Festival Saturday, The Fighter star joked that the trophy looked like a bong. That’s when he said: “I stopped smoking weed for my kids.”
“One day, we were driving and you could smell it from somewhere. My daughter asked what the smell was so I told her it was a skunk. Then she said, ‘Sometimes daddy smells like that!’ to me and my wife. So I knew I had to quit.”
Tuesday, January 11, 2011, The Grove, Los Angeles, CA. Mario Lopezof Extra was lucky enough to live out many a men’s (and a few women’s) fantasy today and drive the Green Hornet car.
Green Hornet, starring Seth Rogen, Cameron Diaz, and Jay Chou opens in theaters, January 14th.
I will let Sandra Bernhard’s review stand for the book as I have yet to read it: “Roseanne is funny, everybody knows that. But then there is everything else—the humanity, rabbinical wisdom, Mother Earth fearlessness, true beauty, and the ability to stay one step ahead of insanity at all times. She’s always had her finger on the pulse and can tell when the patient needs some emergency care. Nurse Barr has saved us once again.”
Not having read the book, the adjectives Sandra uses seem to nail my perception of Roseanne right on the head. First off, Roseanne looked fabulous in person. I asked her what her beauty secret is and without missing a step, she said: “Lots of drinking.” Roseanne also was funny, warm, soft spoken and gentle. She was witty and quick and sharp. She had the whole room fall in love with her; that is, if they weren’t already in love with her before their arrival.
Someone asked Roseanne if she would run for president one day. She gave an emphatic “Yes!” She followed by saying she would run for the president of the United States and the prime minister of Israel at the same time. “It’d be a 2fer!” Her campaign promise? “I would establish world peace within 30 days of being elected because I would know how to!” Of course, she would have her own party affiliation: The Green Tea Party.
Roseanne, a blogger since 1996 when no one else was blogging named Snooki as her favorite author – funny thing, Snooki was the last author who held a book signing at Barnes & Noble right before Roseanne’s gig. She actually then said her favorite book is a Tale of Two Cities and her fave author is Mary Daly. Sorry Snooki!
