Russell Brand has been named the “Fun Fearless Male of the Year” by Cosmopolitan and, so, he graces the cover of next month’s issue. In the interview for the cover, Brand talks about marriage to Katy Perry, when he knew he was in love, and his new Cosmo accolade!
On his marriage with Katy Perry:
“It’s amazing! Once you’ve said those things about commitment, you think, Well, it doesn’t matter if we have some disagreement about what should go where in the fridge. You’re married now, so you’ll just have to deal.”
On when he fell in love:
“Well, she threw a bottle at my head when we first met, and she’s been doing that in some form or another ever since. The woman I fell in love with is constantly evolving and changing. She’s loving and a beautiful person.”
On the most fun and fearless thing he’s ever done:
“It’s pretty wild that I’m going to spend the rest of my life with Katy.”
On his new Cosmo accolade:
“So long as there’s time, I’d like to be the fun and fearless male of that time. … Fun and fearless are what are going to define the upcoming decade for me.”
