Kristen Stewart On Relationship Advice: “Don’t Be An A**hole”

As we get closer and closer to the November 18 release of Breaking Dawn, expect more and more magazines with Kristen Stewart on the cover.

One of those mags is the November issue of Glamour. The Twilight darling sat down with her friend and Twilight author Stephenie Meyer for the accompanying interview to dish about her already iconic role as Bella, and of course, boys 🙂

So, what advice does the girl dating Robert Pattinson–one of the sexiest human beings alive–have for other girls?

“Hmm, good relationship advice for me tends to be being honest and knowing yourself,” said the 21-year old actress. “Don’t be an a**hole. That’s my advice. Don’t be mean. Don’t take sh*t. Don’t settle.”

On a completely different note, would you believe, KStew loves to watch her own vampire movies?

And you wouldn’t guess with whom! When it comes to having a partner while watching Jake and Edward fight it out for Bella, KStew is Team Jake all the way!

“It’s fun to watch with [Taylor Lautner] because we actually sit and watch it,” Kristen said. “Me and Taylor are actual ‘Twilight’ fans, so we can sit there and be totally into it! Whereas I sit there with Rob…he likes it, but he has just such a different energy.”

Stephenie agreed: “Oh, Rob and Taylor have completely different energy! Watching it with Taylor, you feel afraid that you’ll get ice down the back of your neck or a grape in your face.”

Jenna Fischer of The Office is a proud mother!

The actress and husband Lee Kirk welcomed the birth of their first son on September 24. The name? Weston Lee.

“Mom and baby are doing great,” Fischer’s rep tells People.

Fischer and Kirk were engaged in 2009 while both were vacationing in Europe and got married in July 2010. Survivor’s Jeff Probst officiated the ceremony.

The 80’s all female pop rock band, The Bangles, are back, three of them anyway, with the group’s first studio album of new music in eight years. Sweetheart of the Sun was released September 27, 2011 and is their first album on the new Model Music Group label.

Known for their mega-hits Manic Monday, Walk Like an Egyptian, Eternal Flame, If She Knew What She Wants and their cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s A Hazy Shade of Winter, the group returned to the studio in 2009 after a long hiatus to record the new album with songs going back to the stylish jangly pop sound which shot them to the top of the charts during the mid-’80s.

Only bassist Michael Steele is missing from the album and from the tour that brings The Bangles — Susanna Hoffs, and sisters Vicki Peterson and Debbi Peterson — on the road once again.

YAY FOR GIRL POWER! AND, way to go Melissa McCarthy!

As a first time host on Saturday Night Live this weekend, not only did McCarthy deliver a funny physical performance in every skit, but she also, with help from musical guest, Lady Antebellum, drew a solid 5.2 rating/13 share in metered-market households.
That’s a 2% increase from SNL‘s season premiere last week (5.1/13), which was Alec Baldwin’s record 16th turn as host.
Yesterday’s SNL also was up 8% vs. the same night last year. 
Now, that’s what I call, KICK ASS!

Elizabeth Hurley Engaged; Back On TV In ‘Gossip Girl’

Elizabeth Hurley is engaged to be married again. She Tweeted this photo of her and her fiance, Aussie cricket player, Shane Warne, over the weekend, with the caption, “Thanks for all your congratulations. Here’s a pic of us about to go to Dunhill dinner in St Andrews.”

Warne also Tweeted the same photo and caption, and, added, “Thanks so much again for all your kind messages, they mean a lot.. EH & I very happy and have had a beautiful lazy day today..” Denying reports that he proposed in a crowded restaurant, Warne explained, “I didn’t propose in front of 200 people at dinner. It was done privately and was very romantic – if I say so myself. Ps left knee is sore!!!”

This isn’t the only good news for Hurley. After a seven-year absence from acting, Hurley will appear on the small screen again. She will be making cameos in a few episodes of the Gossip Girl, starting with her debut this past week playing a sexy, smart media mogul who seduced a main character, Nate Archibald, played by Chace Crawford.


Tragedy Strikes Anderson Cooper’s New Show: Teenage Guest In Coma

Things are not off to a great start for Anderson Cooper’s new daytime talk-show, Anderson. 

Only weeks into production, the new show is already in the midst of a tragedy. Gawker reports that a teenager who was set to appear on Anderson for a segment on how the teenage brain works was asked by the producers to tape a segment on his own and “film the crazy stuff you do.”

Unfortunately, the teenager did just that, and, while filming himself doing some skateboarding stunts, ended up incurring a head injury which reportedly landed him in a coma. Gawker reports that Cooper is “distraught.” One of his reps confirmed the injury to The Hollywood Reporter. Anderson Cooper himself told THR that he is very saddened by the accident and expresses his “deepest concerns” to the teen. “My thoughts and prayers for his health, well-being and recovery are with him and his family,” Cooper told THR.

After 33 years on CBS’ 60 Minutes, Andy Rooney has said goodbye and left the building. For good.

The venerable 92 year-old commentator aired his last segment Sunday, talking about his life and career and how fortunate he’s been throughout his illustrious life. “Of all the things I have complained, I cannot complain about my life.”

“When I went on television, it was as a writer…I probably haven’t said anything here that you already didn’t know, or hadn’t thought. There aren’t too many original thoughts in the world. A writer’s job is to tell the truth,” said Rooney. I have always hoped that people will like what I have written. Being liked, is nice, but that is not my intent.” He continued, “I believe that if all the truths were known about everything in the world, it would be a better place to live.”

“This is a moment I have dreaded and I wish I could do this forever. I can’t though….And I don’t always say this, but, ‘Thank you.’ “

‘Arrested Development’ To Return As A Movie And A TV Series

Everyone confirms: Arrested Development is coming back as a movie and in more TV episodes!

“It’s true. We will do 10 episodes and the movie,” Jason Bateman Tweeted today, explaining: “Probably shoot them all together next summer for a release in early ’13. VERY excited!”

At a panel at the New Yorker Festival also held today, the show’s creator, Mitch Hurwitz, announced that he’s hoping to produce ten new episodes which would air before the movie is released. Each of the episodes will feature one main character who will get the audience up to speed on where he/she has been the last few years–since the show went off the air in 2006.

Will Arnett also took to Twitter about the good news: “I’m peeing with @batemanjason at the moment.” Arnett continued, “We can confirm that we are going to make new AD eps and a movie.”
