Katy Perry spoke out over Twitter this weekend to clear up some twirling rumors about herself since her public split from Russell Brand and to thank her fans for their support in these difficult times.

“I am so grateful for all the love and support I’ve had from people around the world,” the 27-year old songstress Tweeted. “You guys have made my heart happy again.”

Beyoncé and Jay-Z welcomed baby daughter Blue Ivy Carter into the world Saturday night. The birth took place in New York, via a scheduled C-section.
The couple’s famous celeb friends took to Twitter to congratulate the duo.
Music mogul Russell Simmons wrote: “congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay-Z.” Rihanna wrote, “Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih.”

The Voice judge took the stage Friday at NBC’s Television Critics Association Press Tour panel for the show with fellow judges/mentors Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.

While promoting the show, the panel got on the topic of female empowerment and discussed the way Hollywood treats women.

“I’ve been in this [business] for a long time,” Aguilera chimed in. “I came out on the scene when I was 17 years old. You can never be too much of anything. You can never be too perfect, too thin, too curvy, too voluptuous, this, that. SPOTTED: Jenni JWoww Farley of Jersey Shore for an interview with Renee Bargh of Extra at The Grove in Los Angeles, CA.

During the interview, JWoww told Bargh that she cried for 15 minutes when she found out she would be the cover girl for the January issue of Maxim. JWoww said she never thought she was in the “league of women” that the mag would be interested in.

When asked what is the one thing that most people do not know about her, JWoww surprised the crowd by saying she went to college for seven years and has two degrees.
