Katy Perry spoke out over Twitter this weekend to clear up some twirling rumors about herself since her public split from Russell Brand and to thank her fans for their support in these difficult times.
“I am so grateful for all the love and support I’ve had from people around the world,” the 27-year old songstress Tweeted. “You guys have made my heart happy again.”
Katy then continued to say that no one speaks for her, not even her family, possibly reacting to her parents having said her divorce is a ‘blessing in disguise.’
“Concerning the gossip, I want to be clear that NO ONE speaks for me. Not a blog, magazine, ‘close sources’ or my family,” Katy wrote.
