Jessica Sanchez is a big fan of American Idol winner Phillip Phillips. The Idol runner-up told reporters right after the finale: “I really think that Phillip deserves to win and I’m so happy for him…He has his funny side and his humble side and he’s just an amazing, original artist.”
Well, Ms. Sanchez, can’t we say the same about you? Having met you now on several occasions I can honestly say they don’t come any more funny or humble or talented than you do. Not to mention cute. Congrats!
Jessica was spotted at The Grove in Los Angeles the day after the Idol finale, telling Mario Lopez of Extra that right before Ryan Seacrest announced the winner, Jessica whispered in Phillip’s ear that he was going to win. Jessica also told Rolling Stone that she was not surprised that Phillips won. “Not at all – he has such a big fan base. We both do. We both thank our fans so much. But he’s a real “artist” artist. He always sounds like him. He sang so many different songs and always sounded like himself. I’m so proud of him, and I’m glad it was him,” Jessica said.
Well, I am proud of you and I wish you could have won as well.
