Haute Living celebrated its current Los Angeles cover star Lucy Hale with a gorgeous, intimate dinner at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills with Real is a Diamond. Hale entered the space looking stunning as per usual, dressed in an elegant blush pink Cushnie et Ochs gown. She also wore diamonds—the ultimate symbol of life’s most meaningful moments—to the dinner, opting for an impressive diamond ear cuff and necklace by fine jewelry designer Sara Weinstock. The Pretty Little Liars star was joined by notable attendees like Jaime King—also flaunting a dazzling vintage diamond necklace, rings and earrings from Cartier—as well as actress Dawn Olivieri, Carla DiBello, singer Ally Brooke, Haute Living co-founder Seth Semilof, Dan Koday, Sean Wolfington and more.

In her exclusive cover story with Haute Living, Hale discussed how she’s leaving her pretty little past behind and embarking on a new adventure of self-discovery. “I will always have a special place in my heart for that show because it changed my life,” she explained. “But honestly, it was time to go. I felt sad to leave what I consider to be family behind—even though I didn’t leave them behind, they’re still in my life—but I was so excited. It was a new chapter. Creatively, I needed something new to stimulate me again.”

She also discussed some of her favorite prized possessions, revealing that she loves vintage diamonds. “The most expensive thing I own is my ’96 Rolex with diamonds. I love watches. My most prized possession, though, is my grandmother’s ring from the Victorian era,” she said. Thus, it was fitting that she arrived to the intimate fête flaunting a beautiful display of elegant diamond jewelry.

The evening featured a decadent menu from the upscale eatery, including signatures like the Ahi Tuna Tartare, Heirloom Tomato & Strawberry salad, Grilled Organic Chicken, Local Striped Bass and Lucy’s personal favorite—the Warm Chocolate cake—for dessert.

Upon completion of the meal, Haute Living co-founder Seth Semilof gave a speech thanking Lucy for coming to celebrate with the group and congratulating her on all of her successes. To commemorate the affair, he presented the star with a custom painting by Shelby and Sandy of a beautiful rose.
