Autograph Collection Hotels, the Black List and Sundance Institute & Diversity Initiative hosted the 2nd Annual “Power Women’s Cocktail” this weekend, along with co-hosts Aisha Tyler, Issa Rae, Tessa Thompson and Leslie Harris. These talented ladies all addressed the crowd with personal anecdotes about the women who inspire them. The event, which took place at The Retreat inside Hotel Park City, celebrated the vital female voice in independent film.

Autograph Collection Hotels & the Black List also hosted cocktails to celebrate Maggie Gyllenhaal as Independent Film Advisor for the Brand’s Indie Film Project. Clad in a pink Vampire’s Wife dress and black fishnet socks from The Great Eros (which she gushed about), Maggie took the stage with singer Martha Wainwright to perform a song for the small crowd. “I need one more drink of tequila,” Maggie said after admitting, “my brother and I sometimes try to figure out the harmonies that [Martha] and her brother [Rufus Wainwright] sing on some of her albums.” With sheet music in hand, the duo broke into a rendition of The Magnetic Fields’ “Papa Was a Rodeo.”

The sibling theme continued as Immy Waterhouse tagged along to the concert with older sister Suki. In between bites of smoked salmon, the elder Waterhouse talked about how she scored two tickets to the Fonda documentary. “Unbelievable! I sobbed. I snotted all over my Burberry coat!” she said, noting that she preferred to look “like I’m trotting around London” instead of skiing.

Ashley Judd stopped by to catch the performance and gave Jake Gyllenhaal a big hug, who was supporting his sister Maggie along with they mom. A guest was overheard saying to Ashely Judd that she should run for office!
