Director Quentin Tarantino received a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Hollywood Boulevard on Monday, in front of the TCL Chinese Theatre.

“Wow, I guess I must have become a big shot,” Quentin said of the honor. He talked about his first few times of walking the stretch of the famed sidewalk which now bears his very own star. The earliest event he remembers bringing him to the spot was Diamonds Are Forever. “The line went all the way down the block and at one point, as I stood in that line, I stood right here.”

Tarantino was joined by his friends and colleagues including cast members from his latest film The Hateful Eight, including Samuel L Jackson and New Zealand stunt woman and actress Zoe Bell.
