Pharrell Williams has joined the coasting cast of The Voice Season 7 on NBC. “Okay, we can OFFICIALLY say it! WE ARE SO #HAPPY to announce PHARRELL WILLIAMS = #NewVoiceCoach for SEASON 7,” the NBC reality hit’s official Twitter account boasted on Monday. 

Pharrell himself also Tweeted, “This is going to be so fun,” shortly before being welcomed on board by The Voice veteran coach, Adam Levine, who tweeted, “Welcome to the circus dude!”

NBC boss Paul Telegdy added that “[Pharrell] has already made a considerable impact as a mentor [on The Voice], drawing on an impressive track record as both a producer and performer.”

“It is a perfect fit for The Voice as we evolve and reach for new heights with this franchise. It feels like we are welcoming an existing family member home.”
