It’s a new year, it’s a possible new budding relationship for [exes?] Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. After abruptly canceling the remainder of her “Stars Dance” tour to get herself some “me time,” Selena was instead spotted together with her ex-boyfriend riding Segways in Calabasas, inside Biebs’ gated community. And the reunion apparently caused quite the stir in this exclusive neighborhood.

As passersby noticed the famous duo, Twitter started to go abuzz with news of the sighting. This photo was posted on the social media site by a rubbernecking passerby, alongside a play-by-play of the duo’s encounter.

“Bieber and Selena segwaying in the Oaks,” Tweeted Nick Sanitsky, adding, “She was so nice, so he yelled at us.”

Obviously not a fan of Justin, Nick added, “Shoutout to @justinbieber for holding up all the traffic in the Oaks. Grow up…Thanks to @justinbieber told us to f*** off, and his bodyguards blocked the road, so hello to my new followers! Gotta admit, I was kinda starstruck by @selenagomez but @justinbieber ruined the moment.”

The reunion should not come as a surprise given Bieber’s recent admission that he still loves his ex. While chatting with Big Boy’s Neighborhood for Los Angeles hip-hip radio station Power 106, Justin revealed, “I wrote the best music once my heart was broken. ‘All That Matters’ was written when I was in a great place in my relationship, and at that time, she was all that mattered in my life.

“[The break up] affected us, especially when we are in front of so many people. It’s such a public thing. It’s just hard for the both of us. But you know, she’s a great woman. I love her till this day.

“I think we’re going to be the greatest of friends. Right now we’re taking a little time and not talking.”
