Hugh Jackman is a stud. So much so, that the fit 44-year-old actor was not permitted to film any shirtless scenes for his new film Prisoners.

You wonder to yourself, why not? And after you sigh, ‘what a shame,’ you realize, Hugh’s body had to be kept hidden because it was in too good a shape for the role he was playing. 

Prisoners director Denis Villeneuve explained it all to E! News: “When were shooting, Hugh was between Wolverine and the X Men movie.” Denis added, “I know if the guy was removing his shirt, I would have a superhero and no more an every day American father. So I tried to hide it. As you noticed, he is always wearing his winter clothes.”

Well, now, that all explains it!
