Miley Cyrus is not apologizing for her shocking performance at the 2013 MTV VMAs.  In fact, the 20-year-old entertainer is proud of the controversy she stirred up for overtly sexing up the show and grinding the very married father of one, Robin Thicke, on stage.

“Smilers! My VMA performance had 306,000 tweets per minute,” Miley gloated on Twitter after the fact. “That’s more than the blackout or Superbowl! #fact,” Miley added. She also included some racy photos pf herself including this one.

Well, good for you Miley. I guess it doesn’t matter to you that the majority of those Tweets were negative.

While Miley is basking in the post-VMA buzz, Us Weekly reports that Thicke is “bummed” by all the negative reviews. “I don’t think he would have done it knowing what it ended up like,” a source tells the mag.
