Twitter Fight! Perez Hilton and Lady Gaga got into a nasty 140 character or less war of words on Sunday. The gossip blogger and mother monster decided to take their private feud and make it public via the social media site. Gaga and her former bestie Perez have been on the outs as of late, for reasons that neither party has fully disclosed. Fans were shocked when the two began trading nasty messages.
It all started with a tweet from one of Gaga’s fans telling her that Perez was seen in her NYC apartment building. Gaga called her security team to confirm that this was true and once she received confirmation she fired off a series of tweets to the self proclaimed “Queen of All Media.”
@perezhilton STAY AWAY FROM ME + MY FAMILY YOU ARE SICK TRYING TO RENT AN APARTMENT IN MY BUILDING TO STALK ME. LEAVE ME ALONE!!!

I just want to make music+make people smile. Im sorry to all the fans who are trying to enjoy whats suppose to be a happy time. Gone too far.
Hilton responded to the tweets by posting a message on his hugely popular blog, perezhilton.com. The statements explained that Hilton and his family are moving to New York City for an extended period and were in the building apartment hunting with his real estate agent. “I am devastated and my heart hurts that my former very good friend, a person I used to call my “wifey” and traveled the world with, is making very public and very untrue allegations about me on Twitter.”
Perez went on to say “Any allegation that I am stalking her, based on a day of house hunting with my baby boy and my mother, is utterly false, defamatory and now appears to be putting me and my family in danger. I hope her fans stop sending me death threats, as the suggestion that I pose a danger to Lady GaGa is preposterous.”
Then for good measure, Hilton added “If her fans want to send a message of support to Lady GaGa, they should buy her music. Notwithstanding my feelings about our personal relationship, I do wish Lady GaGa happiness and continued success and I assure you my family house hunting has nothing to do with her.”
That did not end the fight. The fighting words continued on Twitter following Hilton’s statement.
Lady Gaga shot off: @PEREZHILTON YOU ARE A LIAR I KEPT EVERY PSYCHOTIC TEXT U SENT TO MY PHONE. I NEVER RESPONDED+NOW YOU’VE STALKED MY HOME. BOY WHO CRIED WOLF
Hilton shot back: @ladygaga The only boy here is my son and your fans keep calling him ugly and threatening to kill me. You are making matters worse. Sad.
@ladygaga It’s also transparent you’re using a public forum like Twitter to address a private matter, just to get publiclity for your song.

Gaga did not respond to any of Hilton’s last set of tweets but it seems like this fight is far from over.
