Rob Lowe and Rashida Jones are leaving NBC comedy Parks and Recreation this season.

Their characters on the show, Chris Traeger and Ann Perkins, are trying to have a baby. It is unclear how their departure will be portrayed on the show but the duo are set to exit the series in the 13th episode of the season. 

Jones first appeared on Parks and Rec in 2009 as Leslie Knope’s (Amy Poehler) best friend. Lowe joined the cast in season two.
