Judges’ Comments on ‘Who are You?’: Mariah said her caliber of performance was beyond and stunning.” Keith loved the performance and seeing Angie loosen up. Nicki said no one compares when Angie is behind the piano. She said it was an exceptional performance. Randy said that he loves Jessie J, but Angie made him completely forget that this was a Jessie J song. He labeled it as the best performance of the night.
Judges’ Comments on “Cry Me A River”: Mariah found it beautiful and elegant. Keith said it was mystical and celestially powerful.” Nicki said this was Angie’s night. Randy called it the best of the night and said Angie won it tonight, hands down.

Candice Glover
Songs:  “Emotion” by Samantha Sang/Destiny’s Child (again, really?) and “Find Your Love” by Drake (Contestant’s choice).
TELEPHONE NUMBER TO VOTE:  1-866-436-5702
Judges’ Comments on ‘Find Your Love’: Nicki would not comment on her voice because all four girls left have amazing voices. She told Candice to think of who her audience and her market are because Nicki found the song choice old-school sounding. Randy said he does not need to hear the full-on church sound every time because everyone already knows her voice is amazing–she should diversify instead. Mariah strongly disagrees. She said “there were certain times where you took me to a place I needed to be.” Keith agreed with Nicki and Randy and said Candice needs to “find herself.”

Kree Harrison
Songs
: “A Whiter Shade Of Pale” by Procol Harum/Annie Lennox  (One Hit Wonder) and “It Hurt So Bad” by Susan Tedeschi (Contestant’s choice).
TELEPHONE NUMBER TO VOTE: 1-866-436-5703
Judges’ Comments on ‘It Hurt so Bad’: Randy said Kree was in her element and can do anything. But then he said she was a little disconnected at times and this was not her best vocal. Mariah said Kree was “truly connected to the audience at moments”. Keith said  at this point, it’s all about song choice, performance, and emotion.” He added for Kree to have done well she needed to pour her heart out…and she did not do enough. Nicki said that performance is not going to give Kree what she needs for next week.”
Judges’ Comments on “A Whiter Shade of Pale”: Randy thought Kree sang her face off.” Mariah said she will download Kree’s performance ASAP! Keith said Kree has two levels: A very deep, soulful level and a burnout-rocker level. He did not like her performace because she was somewhere in the middle of the two levels. Nicki loved it but not sure if she can avoid the bottom two tomorrow night.

Duets
Amber and Kree
Song: “Rumor Has It” by Adele

Angie and Candice
