LIVE SHOW RECAP:
The contestants all receive their makeovers and go home to show off to their families and to see if they can continue to lose weight on their own.

A clean-shaven Jeff arrives home to family and announces that his original weight of 388 pounds has been shed down to 295 pounds. Jeff has lost 103 pounds, Jackson 78 pounds.

After their reveals, each contestant gets a letter which announces two challenged: The first is to lose over 5% of their body weight fpr immunity. That means Joe must lose 14 pounds; Danni 10 pounds, Jeff 15 pounds, Jackson 13 pounds and Gina 9 pounds. There will be no yellow line, only the dreaded red line. The second challenge will be for America’s vote. They will have to have a workout in their hometown community.

WEIGH-IN
Remember, no one is eliminated as long as he/she has lost 5% of their body weight while away from the ranch for two weeks.

Jeff goes from 295 to 276 -19 6.44% (112 pounds to date)
Joe goes from 261 to 244 -17 6.51% (120 pounds to date)
Jackson goes from 250 to 235 -15 6.00% (93 pounds to date)
Gina goes from 173 to 163 -10 5.78% (82 pounds to date)
Danni goes from 184 to 174 -10 5.43% (84 pounds to date)

WHO GOT ELIMINATED ON THE BIGGEST LOSER TONIGHT?
NO ONE is eliminated tonight!

All five contestants reached their five percent goal, so, no one was eliminated from competition this week. Alison then tells them that two of them will guarantee their spots in the final two at the next weigh-in. The other three “will have a problem” as next time, there will be a yellow and a red line. The person with the lowest percentage of weight-loss will automatically be eliminated. The remaining two will fall below the yellow line and only one will make it as a finalist. There will be a vote – not by the players – but by America!

  1. It was great to see them chop all of that hair that was hiding the contestants’ faces and get them in some clothes that actually fit. You could just see the confidence that it gave all of them, and I am so glad that no one had it ruined by getting eliminated. I almost missed all of the makeovers because I was working late at DISH last night, but fortunately there was a recording waiting for me when I got home. I love how my DISH Hopper records everything on NBC during primetime without individual timers, so I never miss The Biggest Loser.
