Taye Diggs is seen here with wife Idina Menzel at the SAG Awards held last night at Shrine auditorium. Hours later from this happy moment, Taye went home only to discover a 20-year-old burglar who had broken into his abode.

When the intruder tried to run away, the Private Practice star got in to action star mode and chased down the suspect, Hassan Juma.  Taye caught the man and detained him until the police arrived on scene.
