Add Jennifer Lawrence to the Honey Boo Boo fan club. The Hunger Games actress told Jay Leno on The Tonight Show Monday night that that her obsession with the TLC reality star caused her to have a car accident!

‘How in the world could that happen’, you might be asking? Apparently, while Lawrence while driving in Georgia, she spotted a breast cancer parade. The participants of the parade were wearing sashes with the word “boobs” inscribed on them.

But, instead of seeing “boobs,” Lawrence, saw “Boo Boo.” That’s some weird Freudian slip if you ask me. “I thought it was saying ‘Boo Boo’ and so I was like, ‘Whoa, does that mean there’s Honey Boo Boo?'” Lawrence went on…”So I started craning my neck and I saw a little girl, and I was like, ‘That’s Honey Boo Boo!'”

Caught up in the excitement of seeing a Honey Boo Boo look-alike, Lawrence failed to notice the car in front of her and rear-ended the vehicle. She got out of her car and told the driver of the car she hit: “I’m sorry that I hit your family,” she said. “I thought I saw Honey Boo Boo.”

Not sure that excuse would hold up in court.
