Nicki Minaj threatens to kill Mariah Carey

The feuding tale between the Mariah Carey vs. Nicki Minaj just got a little more bizarre as Barbara Walters has stepped in to try to make heads and tails out of this mess between the two American Idol judges.

Did Nicki really threaten to kill Mariah?’ is the question of the day. The answer is ‘yes’ according to the much respected news lady and co-host of The View.

On The View this morning, Walters read from her notes which she took during a conversation she had with Carey. Apparently, Carey did in fact allege to Walters: “Nicki walked off the set and multiple people heard Nicki say, ‘If I had a gun I would shoot the bitch.'”

Mariah apparently took the threat seriously because she confided in Walters that she has hired extra security to serve as protection against Minaj.

Minaj has finally spoken up about this whole mess which she says was created by the show’s producers. She took to Twitter to say:

“I don’t call tmz n Barbara Walters cuz I stand on my own two feet. Never needed an army. God is good. Insecurity is as cruel as the grave….I guess it hurts 2 have the producers tell u to ur face that nicki is the best judge we’ve had since simon. Awww, poor u. Keep them lies cmn.”

Nicki continued the rant with, “Tried to keep quiet but let’s go!!!!” Her very next Tweet may have been intended for Carey: “All I do is compliment u. That’s not enuff? Ur a legend, cheer up. U don’t have to run down ur resume or feel intimidated. Shady McGrady…”

I don’t know if I buy all this stuff anymore. I mean, Mariah, if you are scared for your life, why not go to the police instead of a co-host of a talk show? Is this feud real or are Idol producers trying to garner interest in a show with declining ratings? I mean, how was the fight between Mariah and Nicki ‘caught on tape’ anyway when it was just Idol people in the room? I just wonder…
