Celebrities deal with paparazzi in many different ways, some more gracefully than others. But I don’t think I have ever seen anything as creative as the way couple Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield handled their latest brush with the pesky photographers.

When the duo realized they were being stalked by paps lurking outside the restaurant they were in, they quickly made some homemade signs and took advantage of the situation to spread the word about two charities they love.

The Amazing Spider-Man stars came out of the restaurant, armed with two signs on pieces of cardboard. Emma’s sign read: “We just found out that there were paparazzi outside the restaurant we were eating in. So…Why not take this…” And Andrew’s sign read, “Opportunity to bring attention to organizations that need and deserve it: www.wwo.org and gildasclubnyc.org. Have a good day!”
