Known for her simple elegance, Gwyneth Paltrow has just been named the “World’s Best Dressed Woman” of 2012 by People magazine.
The 39-year-old Oscar-winning actress topped the style setters’ list which included Rihanna, Kate Middleton, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Lawrence, and the Kardashians. The list was compiled from People mag’s 42 million readers, editors and fashion bloggers.
Paltrow’s stylist, Elizabeth Saltzman, told People that Gwyneth “doesn’t do fringe. She has a uniform. It’s simple, not overdone”.
Kate Middleton was named the woman with the best classic style. Emma Stone was pegged as the one with the best red carpet style. Rihanna was honored as taking the most risks in her fashion choices [Heard of Lady Gaga, anyone?]
The men who got the same honors included Andrew Garfield, Brad Pitt, Colin Firth, Chris Hemsworth, brother Liam Hemsworth, Robert Pattinson, and Jay-Z.
