Jessica Simpson On Post Baby-Body: “My Body Is Not Bouncing Back”

Let’s just say Jessica Simpson gained a few pounds during her first pregnancy with Maxwell Drew. Jessica took responsibility for the extra pounds by admitting, “I let myself indulge in everything I wanted because it was the first time I was ever pregnant, and I wanted to enjoy it.”

But now, Jess is regretting her food choices while pregnant.  “I didn’t realize [the weight] didn’t all come off with the baby,” says Simpson.

Simpson is on a much more restricted diet these days while doing Weight Watchers as the company’s newest spokeswoman (her ads start appearing next week). Simpson now works out 4-5 times a week but says she can only walk and not run because her “boobs are way too big to run at this point.”

“My body is not bouncing back like a supermodel … I’m just your everyday woman trying to feel good and be healthy for her daughter, her fiancé and herself.”

We don’t know how much weight Jessica had gained during her pregnancy or how much weight she has lost since. But we will soon find out because Jess will show off her post-baby body on Katie Couric’s new show, Katie, on September 10.
