A superhero has fallen. Robert Downey Jr. is recovering from an injury he suffered on the set of “Iron Man 3.” The production which is being shot in North Carolina will shut down temporarily while 47-year-old Downey recuperates from an ankle injury.
Marvel Studios released a statement that “Robert Downey Jr. sustained an ankle injury on the set of ‘Iron Man 3’ in Wilmington, N.C., while performing a stunt. There will be a short delay in the production schedule while he recuperates.”
