Macaulay Culkin is fighting back against an “impossibly and ridiculously fictitious” story in National Enquirer which claimed that Culkin is abusing heroin and prescription pain medication to the point that has left him with a six-month life expectancy.

The tabloid cites a “close friend” which claims Culkin has reached a $6000/month drug habitcaused by his split from Mila Kunis in 2010.

The former child star’s rep pleads otherwise.“The report in the National Enquirer that Macaulay Culkin is addicted to heroin and assorted hallucinogenics is not only categorically without merit, but it is also impossibly and ridiculously fictitious.” The rep for the 31-year old actor adds, “We beseech responsible media to consider the source and its reputation and to please not perpetuate this destructive, insulting story by pursuing it any further.”
