Katy Perry has two new parts to her: The pop singer is now also an investor and an ambassador for the snack brand Pop Chips.
Perry joins Ashton Kutcher with a stake in the company — and it all started as a Tweet.
While on the road promoting her movie, Katy Perry: Part of Me, Perry had the midnight munchies and found a bag of Pop Chips in her hotel minibar. “I remember it was late at night, and i was craving a midnight snack without the guilt,” Katy recalled. “The bag stood out in the minibar, and I was pleasantly surprised when I read the back of the label and saw that it was a healthier choice. I was hooked after my first bite!”
Katy further explained, “When I discover something good, I want to share it with everyone I know, so I tweeted about it; popchips came to me, and I’ve decided to invest in popchips and join the team as a creative partner!”
