Andy Griffith, the iconic star of two legendary television programs, The Andy Griffith Show and Matlock, has passed away at his home in North Carolina. He was 86.
The actor is survived by his third wife, Cindi Knight, and his daughter Dixie Nan. My best wishes and prayers go out to his family.
One of the last great true gentleman actors of my generation. Grew up with Andy and the gang as a kid. Rest in peace Andy, and thank you for your gift to the world.
