The Spice Girls reunited in London on Tuesday morning for the first time since 2008 to give their fans what they want , what they really, really want: An Announcement of the upcoming West End musical,  Viva Forever!, based on their music.

Producers of the show say “Viva Forever!” isn’t a biography of the band but there will be many real-life similarities to the 1990s “Girl Power” group. This will be a story of female empowerment and friendship tested by fame.

“We’re going to be introducing a whole new generation to `Girl Power,”‘ said Victoria Beckham who is also known as “Posh Spice”. Also attending the media launch alongside Beckham was Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm and Melanie Brown — also known as Baby, Ginger, Sporty and Scary Spice.
