It’s crazy to think that a self-made multi-millionaire who has several albums under his belt, multitudes of commercial products bearing his image and who has even penned a memoir or two had not even graduated from high school until now. Or that he even bothered to finish school given all his worldly accomplishments. But that is exactly what Justin Bieber did…for his mother.
Bieber told the U.K. paper The Daily Telegraph: “I just finished high school. I passed my test — I’m free! It was hard doing school and work every day.”
Bieber continued with school despite his worldwide fame and fortune at the request of his mother.
“[Graduating] was something my mom really wanted me to do, so I had to do it for her,” he admitted. Bieber added, “I mean, this kind of lifestyle has given me a different perspective on life. I’ve been able to travel the world. At school, usually you have to do a lot of writing and reading. I’m not really into that stuff. I like to be out there.”

By graduating from school he distinguished himself from many of his past counterparts who did not do the same once their musical/acting careers took off; such stars as Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Beyonce, and Jessica Simpson have yet to receive such a degree.
