For all you beliebers hoping that the breakup rumors of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are true, I have some bad news for you…

Yesterday, the tabloids swirled with rumors that the Biebs broke up with Selena and – gasp – he did so over Twitter. They based their unfounded conclusion on an alleged Tweet (which was supposedly soon deleted) from Justin saying, “Thank you for the time I had with you but now I have to move on.”

And if you’re thinking this may be just a spin on things to make it all appear good and dandy between the two, think again. A website called Celebrity Tweet archives all Tweets (including deleted ones) which are posted by celebrities and that mysterious breakup tweet is nowhere to be found. So, it was never sent.

And, so, there you have the truth.
