JESSICA SANCHEZ gave three more flawless performances on the semi-finals episode of American Idol tonight May 16, 2012.

For her first song and as judges’ choice, Jessica sang My All by Mariah Carey (picked by JLo). Randy said it was absolutely beautiful and called it the right song choice for Jessica. Jennifer who had picked the song for Jessica said it is a hard song to sing but she sang it beautiful in her own way. JLo added that Jessica has a lot of control over her voice. Steven said, “When you sing you make people hang on to your every note, get used to encores.” Steven thinks Jessica will be “the last one standing here.”

For her second song, Jessica chose I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing by Aerosmith. Steven Tyler gave Jessica a standing ovation after she finished and said she made this song greater!! Jennifer said Jessica did a really good job and it’s a big deal because he has never said that about anyone singing this song! Randy said Jessica chose some rough songs tonight but she is bold and she has done it. “You are choosing tough hills to climb tonight, you are bold, you want this. It was slow in the beginning, but you delivered.”

Jimmy Iovine picked I’ll Be There by The Jackson Five as Jessica’s third and last song of the night. Randy liked it OK but didn’t love it. “Once again we are at the end here, there was never a moment, it was OK but it wasn’t like ‘oh my God’”. Jennifer called it a good song choice by Jimmy. Said Jessica had perfect tone in her voice. “You killed it at the end, good job baby.” Steven said, “That song was perfect, perfect voice, over the top.”
