Dancing With the Stars
airs its eighth performance show of Season 14 tonight, May 7, 2012. Only six couples remain fighting for the mirrorball trophy. Judges comments:
Len called Donald “a first round knockout” and said he set the standards high for the night.
Bruno said he thought he had to call a marriage counselor for them.
Carrie Ann said they were in the zone and focused.

Judges comments:
Len said, “Fun, fun, fun. I love you!”
Bruno: Called it beautiful and in sync all the way through even though he said it’s hard to do that with three people.
Carrie Ann said Donald never misses a step and loved it!

Judges’ comments:
Bruno called it “heavenly fluidity” and said it was amazing!
Carrie Ann said we all felt the emotion. “Sometimes dances speak to you and sometimes they sing to you. There was an emotional connection to the movements and to each other.”
Len said Maria has the best hold and wanted to see more of the hold.

Second Song/Dance:  Samba with Henry from the Troupe to Rizzle Kicks’ Mama Do The Hump
Judges comments:
Bruno said the dance was incredible creatively speaking and said Maria was the center of attention. “You are like nicely framed beautifully by the two boys. But you lost timing a couple of times.” He told Derek that his choreography was fabulous.
Carrie Ann said the dance was a beautiful way to showcase Maria.
Len said for him, this had no connection to a real Samba. But if he had to score it as a Bollywood number, he’d give it a ten.

Judges’ comments:
Carrie Ann: Complimented Melissa on her shoulders being down and her neck being up and said this was her best dance ever.

Len agreed and said this was probably her best dance so far.
Bruno said that the “cougar got the prize” and added that the presentation was the best Melissa’s done to date.

Judges comments:
Carrie Ann said Melissa is a very good little cream filling between Maks and Val.
Len said this was Melissa’s best dance yet. “Two’s company and three’s a crowd but not tonight!” Bruno called Melissa Rita Hayworth and said it obviously takes two to get the best out of her.

Judges’ comments:
Len said the dance had plenty of content and hold. “The only thing I didn’t like is the part you had trouble with. I didn’t like spinning thing. But the rest was terrific.”Bruno said her Katherine’s technique is superb but he did notice that she lost her balance and that is rare for her.
Carrie Ann said her technique is gorgeous and she gets mesmerized by Katherine’s lines but she did lose her balance.

Second Song/Dance:  Cha Cha Cha with Tristan MacManus to Tom Jones’ She’s A Lady
Judges comments:
Len said it was well done, clean and clear.
Bruno said it was a wonderful dance. Called it was sexy and cool with a modern feel to it.
Carrie Ann said Katherine brought on the fire and she owned the dance. “You had the pants stuck on your foot, you never missed a beat. Well done!”

Bruno called the dance perfect. “The lines, the holds – perfection. A superb job! It is amazing you did that in one week.”
Carrie Ann said that Chelsie and Roshon’s grandmothers are proud. “You made us proud. I am so proud of you. Good job!”
Len: “Two little dancing munchkins – good job dog!”

Second Song/Dance:  Paso Doble with Sasha from the Troupe to David Guetta and Nicki Minaj’s Turn Me On
Judges comments:
Bruno said it was good and beautiful though Roshon lost it a couple of times.  Said Roshon had strength, style and artistry! “There were moments I couldn’t distinguish between the two of you [Sasha and Roshon].
Carrie Ann also said it was a good routine and powerful. But she was conflicted because Roshon did go off a couple of times.
Len said they were two skinny fries chasing over the ketchup.

Judges comments:
Carrie Ann said, “Meow, meow, meow! It was a super hot and sexy Pink Panther.” She said William’s movements were exquisite and said he is fun to watch.
Len said there was care in the technique and flair in the movement.
Bruno called William a heartbreaker. Said he couldn’t be more debonaire and suave if he tried. Scores: Carrie Ann 10. Len 10. Bruno 10. Total= 30

Judges comments:
Carrie Ann said she loves trios and this has been a fun night. “Your lines were perfect. It was insanely fun to watch.” She did tell him that he lost his time once.
Len: “I salute you I thought you did a fabulous job.”
Bruno: “William and Tony there can only be one between the two raging Bulls. I couldn’t ask for more as to the performance value. You used Cheryl as a cape. Beautiful as I have ever seen. But, you went out of sync once. It was too evident.”

  1. Well, Glory Boy Derek got two 10’s again….so sick of him and Maria…cry Maria then you get good scores. Derek and Maria will win because the judges like the Glory Boy and he can do no wrong…they just pick to “try” to make it look fair. It’s not!

  2. I think MAX is a BULLY and think’s he all that, and he NOT
    which is why he has never WON! And Len is too old to be a JUGDE it’s TIME for him to go HOME.. just saying

  3. Roshon made way more mistakes a a trio and spent more time dancing as a duo but gets the exact same score as William who’s only trio mistake was he got down on his knees a second faster than Tony..Go figure.
