Carrie Underwood showed up on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday May 9.

The 29-year-old country crooner revealed to Ellen that she is learning to cook after marrying hockey player Mike Fisher

“I definitely try. I want to be that mom someday [where my kids say], ‘Oh my mom makes the best…’ fill in the blank. I would love to be that. So I’m working on it,” she said.

To get Carrie prepared for motherhood, Ellen gave her a onesie made out of hubbie Mike‘s hockey jersey.
