On Wednesday night’s (April 11, 2012) performance episode of American Idol, Phillip Phillips performed Maroon 5′s song, Give A Little More which left the judges wanting a little more.
The judges were much harder on Phillips than his performance warranted. Jennifer Lopez called the performance “underwhelming.” Randy Jackson agreed and said this wasn’t that “wow” kind of a moment. Steven Tyler was the only judge with anything positive to say about the performance. He told Phillips that we have watched him evolve. “Keep with it.” Tyler advised.
