American Idol‘s March 14, 2012 Top 12 performance show promises to be a shocking night. One contestant will be booted off of the show before he even sings a note! That contestant of course is Jermaine Jones (Gentle Giant) who will be disqualified and eliminated from the competition because he concealed multiple past criminal offenses from the producers.

The other remaining 11 contestants will perform a song chosen from the “year they were born.”Mentor will.i.am will help the contestants hone their skills.

We are now told that Jermaine Jones was in fact eliminated from competition due to his criminal past which was not divulged to the producers. Last March, he was criminally charged with providing a fake name to police and has two warrants out for his arrest.
