The Biggest Loser aired its 9th episode of season 13 on February 28, 2012 with 11 contestants remaining. Below is a live, minute by minute update of the show including the results of tonight’s elimination.

The contestants learn that they will be going home for 18 days and are super excited. They are also informed that they will win immunity if they can lose 5% of their body weight while away. Yes, this means EVERY person can win immunity.

Not before long after being home, the contestants learn that the next challenge will include a rowing machine being set up in each contestant’s home. They all will compete and the first contestant to row 10,000 meters will win $10,000.The battle begins and the contestants each have the advantage of home team support as their friends and family watch and cheer them on. Chism is in the lead at first and crosses 5000 meters. Conda is struggling at 4000 meters. As time passes, we see Chism, Mark, and Kim all surpass 7000 meters and pushing hard. Jeremy starts pushing harder at 8000 meters. The contest ends and all contestants finish. We get a hint that the winner did so by only seven seconds and we will find out who it is at weigh-in.

We then see our contestants being tempted by food in their familiar surroundings. Emily goes to her favorite bakery. Buddy lives in what he calls the fast food capital. Jeremy is back home playing pool with friends and his test is when they all need to eat together. Chism is happy to be back with his band. Chris is worried about her family’s financial situation but knows she needs to focus and not let herself get distracted.

Emily goes for an Olympic weight lifting workout with her dad.  She starts to cry because she is performing mediocre. Megan is excited to be home and spend time with her horse. Before leaving for the show, she could not get on her horse without help, now she can do it!

The contestants finally say goodbye to their family and go back to the ranch.

Since the Black team loses less weight than the Red team, the Black team loses the weigh-in. Guess what? Chism is the only person who did not win immunity this week, so, he is the one being eliminated and going home.
