Selena Gomez has cancelled two holiday concerts which were scheduled for tonight and tomorrow because of a “family emergency.”

Selena is OK but a source close to Gomez’ mother tells E! that her mother suffered a miscarriage yesterday. Gomez had announced via Twitter a month ago that she was expecting a little sibling. 

Selena was supposed to perform in Chicago tonight (at the B96 Jingle Bash 2011) and tomorrow in Seattle (at 106.1 KISS FM’s Jingle Bell Bash). Per E!, Selena was attending Power 106’s Cali Christmas 2011 concert in Los Angeles last night when she heard the tragic news about her mother and she left immediately to go be with her family.
