Simon Cowell, executive producer of The X Factor and co-owner of Syco Music, has confirmed that finalists Josh Krajcik, Chris Rene and Astro will each get a record deal with Sony Music.
Krajcik, 30, was the runner-up of the first season of The X Factor USA. Rene, 28, came in third place and Astro, 15, came in seventh place.

Josh is good too. Now, why is everyone on Astro? He’s a young man, and had his feelings hurt (which you don’t seem to know what feelings are), he was told every day how great he was (and he was) then told he needs to go home. That would be hard for anyone to take. You try and write songs like he does. Astro, you’ll do fine
