PHOTOS: Odette Annable Excited To Work On 2 Different CBS Shows

SPOTTED: Odette Annable at The Grove in Los Angeles September 28, 2011 for an interview with Renee Bargh of Extra.

Odette, the star of Cloverfield and CBS’ Breaking In, is now the newest cast member on House, MD, which is set to premiere for a new season in less than a week. Odette will join the hit CBS show as prison doctor Jessica Adams and will consult on a case with the incarcerated Gregory House (Hugh Laurie). House as you know is in prison for the attempted murder of his ex.Odette, who will star in at least 12 episodes of the show says about her and Laurie’s characters: “We share the love of medicine. She’s just as excited as House is about the clue and the discovery and the puzzle of the diagnosis. She believes in redemption, in second chances, and she’s very enthusiastic about her work.” She continues about the show, “We don’t know if it’s going to be the final season, but if it is I’m happy to be a part of it.”

About her dual roles on two different CBS shows, Odette told The Hollywood Reporter at the Fox fall premiere party: “I don’t know. I’m very excited to be on the same network doing two different shows, playing two completely different characters — on a drama, on a comedy.” She continued, “I hope that they’re going to be able to work it out. I’m ready and willing.”
