After seven years of marriage, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are parting ways.
“We have decided to end our marriage,” they said Friday in a joint statement first reported by People.
“This was a very difficult decision. We have come to amicable conclusion on all matters.”
The parties added Friday that this was a “painful time for all involved,” and asked that their privacy be respected.
Lopez and Anthony married in June 2004 and have two children together, three year-old twins Max and Emme.
