For two weeks in a row, emotions got the best of our stars on April 10th’s Celebrity Apprentice. Last week, it was Meat Loaf blowing up at Gary Busey. This week it was NeNe Leakes going absolutely postal on La Toya Jackson.
La Toya stepped up to be project manager for Team A.S.A.P. just to prove to the women on her team that she had what it takes to lead the team. The women won (You can read the full recap by clicking here), despite the fact that they felt La Toya was confused on the vision of the task and did not communicate well.
All through the task, NeNe took every opportunity to badmouth La Toya to the camera and to anyone who would listen. When Donald Trump, Jr. visited the women’s display, NeNe hopped over to him in a koala costume she wore as part of the task just so she could trash talk La Toya. “La Toya was not organized and she was not a good project manager….I’d be surprised if we won.” Now, Ms. Leakes, how you gonna back stab your team like that?
But oh no, she did not stop there. “If we win, it means the guys sucked!” she told the camera.
In the boardroom, NeNe still talked badly about La Toya. When the women actually won, Trump specifically told NeNe to go back to the hotel room and “apologize to La Toya.” NeNe audibly said, “No” to Trump and instead went full throttle against La Toya back in the hotel.
It all started with NeNe, the constant nagger and tattletale herself, saying, “La Toya, I don’t appreciate you using my name in a negative way. You tried to act as if I said I don’t like you. And I have never said that. This has nothing to do with personal, this is strictly business.” Then she started raising her voice, claiming she is real and if La Toya did not like what she heard, she could “go in the bathroom and hide.”
La Toya somehow kept her cool. NeNe went on, “Don’t you try and act you’re the reason we won. I worked my ass off while you sat there and looked like Casper the Ghost! Let’s be clear Casper, let’s be clear! Disappear ghost….the only reason you’ve gotten this far is because of your last name and you faked it for fifty years. You are very old and you need to play your age and not 12. You are a (sic) old lady.”
Thank God Star interrupted the rant and said, “Let’s watch the men self-destruct, we are owed that for god sake, please.” La Toya acted like a class act, did not say anything except tell the camera that she and NeNe were from different cloths.
Things should get even nastier as we narrow the field of players….stay tuned to the madness…
Nene is just JEALOUS! LaToya does NOT deserve the way the women are treating her. They gave her NO CREDIT this week for donating MJ’s shirt and helping Matlin win her task and then they all trashed her as project manager even tho she won. Nobody gives her the credit she has EARNED. I hope Nene goes next because she’s an uncouth selfish big ol’ broad and she doesn’t need to be on the show with a class act like LaToya and any of the other women. GO HOME NENE!

I am glad to see that LaToya is stronger than she looks. The best way to deal with the likes of NeNe is to ignore her. What she is doing is a reflection on her and Trump and the world will realize it if they haven’t already. NeNe is a REALITY STAR, she has no real talent. She is living in a glass house if there ever was one. Be careful NeNe, your 15 minutes is almost up!
I think Nene should be fired for the Casper the Ghost comments. Of course Gary Busey should have been fired for his comments too. Proof that this is about ratings and not really a contest.
What is wrong with Nene? She’s making herself look foolish, mean and awful? You would think that she’d put herself at her best in front of so many people and on film. It that is the case, what must she really be like? It’s embarrassing.
Nene is an embarrassment–a mean, nasty creature. She will one day regret her ignorant comments about LaToya. They are definitely cut from a different cloth.
NeNe is from the streets and evidently she’s been fighting in the gutter all her life and it’s plan to see why they picked her for a reality show; to draw ratings. I didn’t like the commemt about Casper either. If I recall correctly, NeNe had a breast augmentation, lipo and nose job……and she’s still a HUGE girl. You go Latoya, you are from a different cloth!!!!!!
I think NeNe should be ashamed of herself for the awful stuff she said to LaToya. Also, the other ladies weren’t any better by not speaking up for LaToya!!! NeNe keeps saying she tells the truth. But listen NeNe, the real truth is you can’t hold a candle to LaToya. You have shown that you have NO CLASS! Be glad that you were on the Real Houseewives of Atlanta, because before that who knew you? Nobody chick!!! LaToya won when she was project manager, and the fact is you did not. Now that’s business and not personal.You’re a jealous, wanna be.
I don’t understand how the woman named Hope is staying under the radar. she has no presence and is shady. when Nikki left I saw hope dissociate herself from Nikki immediateness outside thee boardroom, and they were supposed to be friends. then this week her non-contributing a-s actually had an opportunity to stand around doing nothing like she’s been doing ally season, besides shopping. rightfully Latoya nixed that idea and that’s only fair they complain Latoya does nothing but gives hope a pass for whatever shady reason beyond the fact that she’s not a real contender so it’s good to keep her around. I don’t give a damn if she was playmate of the entire universe, I thinks she’s fugly, inside and out. my latest reason I dislike her is she was giggling up a storm when Nathan ‘NeNe called Latoya ‘Casper the ghost’ but last I checked Hope is way pale than Latoya’s bleached skin, so she was stupid not to realize she had been insulted too. Hope should have been fired weeks ago she has no presence, entertainment or meaningful thoughts to contribute.

While I was disappointed in NeNe, I more was disappointed that NONE of the other women stood up for La Toya. NO ONE should be talked to like that and if the rest of the women all stood by and watched, then, they’re just as much at fault!
La Toya won her task. And you are right, she also is the reason the women won the art task as well because she donated MJ’s shirt and her painting sold for a lot of money. She is certainly pulling her weight.
And yes, great point, how is Hope sliding by so easily???
Other than ratings, why is NeNe even on the show. She has no class, she’s ghetto, and as a black women I’m offended by her. She said it wasn’t personal against LaToya but her criticism shows type of person she is. She’s vulger, mean-spirited and has no right to criticize LaToya’s physical appearance. I have my own opinion of what NeNe looks like. LaToya showed that she has class and she is respectful of others feelings. NeNe is an example of how not to act.
The charity NeNe is representing should back out without regret … “battered women”? Thats the charity? NeNe is behaving like that! One week she says she is crying because she loves her charity so much and doesn’t want to let it down and the next week she is attacking a team mate like an abusive man? Words could not describe how my heart dropped into my chest when I saw that whole interaction. I dread to think of it unedited and as edited it was pretty raw. If I recall, Latoya at one time said her ex-husband was very abusive and NeNe ‘claims’ she was abused. You can tell LaToya has recovered but NeNe? I guess sometimes the abused becomes the abuser. So sad, so very sad.
Wow, I was shocked and upset watching how LaToya was treated on the last episode. So wrong. Although LaToya is a black woman too, calling her or anyone, “casper the ghost” came from a such a “racist” place. No matter how you look at it, she meant it as an insult, and it was offensive! As with all these Real Housewives, NeNe is just another piece of low life trash who thinks she’s on TV because she is something special, NOT! News flash NeNe, anyone can get on TV these days, Reality producers love train wrecks and give them the rope to hang themselves, while we all laugh AT them. The difference with this breed of TV folk, is that without talent, good looks, and dignity they will never last. Guarantee in 10 years NO ONE will ever know who NeNe is, except for the oversized fool that she is. That “thing” should NOT be commenting on LaToya’s appearance, and should instead be working very hard to work on herself, inside and out…..just ugly! I totally agree that her charity should fire her, of all things, abuse was her charity.
NO WAY IN THE WORLD LaToya should have been fired tonite! I just really wish she had not given MJ’s $90,000 shirt to Marlee because Marlee is a back-stabber and just as 2-faced and vicious as Nene is to LaToya. LaToya is way-smarter than any of us knew and she is a true diplomat. She didn’t let the other bimbos intimidate her, but Donald Trump did. He just wants high ratings with the audience seeing Star & Nene go at it like a bull and a shark. LaToya, be glad you are out of that mess! Go home to your mansion and enjoy your riches without all this hassle. You did GOOD on the show and YOU are a diva!

NeNe is out of her league. Why is she even on the show, given that she speaks poorly and acts like someone straight from the streets? It is obvius that she is jealous of LaToya who has loads of class. Nene should be fired immediately. One can only hope that when she watches the tapes, she will change her ghetto acting ways and go away forever!
Nene should have been fired for her (??) outburst on LaToya. BTW, I am assuming that Nene is a female. It is hard to tell by looking and by the voice.
I wonder what her siblings would of thought. That was just low class of Nene to say that to Latoya. I hope her siblings wath that scene…because Nene will wish she never said that to her.
