Animated. Playful. Hilarious. Talented. Those are the four adjectives I would use to describe Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer, known as Team Schmurgles on Dancing with the Stars.

Kyle and Lacey were at The Grove to speak with Mario Lopez of Extra.  Kyle told Mario that he has absolutely no previous dance experience except for “The Jerk.”  But thanked Lacey for changing him from “flab to fab!”

Lacey said there are six teams left on DWTS, and said out of those six teams there are three teams they call “Team Underdogs,” teams with Kyle, Bristol Palin and Rick Fox.

Watch the full Extra interview next week!

In the meantime, watch Lacey show Mario how to dance!

And, watch Kyle and Lacey answer fans’ questions and watch the dance move Kyle invented:

How cute are Lacey’s shoes?

Readers Are Upset By Choice of LeAnn Rimes On Cover Of Shape Magazine; Editor Apologizes

LeAnn Rimes looked physically terrific on the cover of Shape magazine but her healthy, fit body was not enough to deter Shape‘s readers from sending in emails to Shape voicing their discontent on the decision to put Rimes on the magazine’s October cover.

Per Too Fab, Shape’s editor-in-chief sent an email to the readers who sent in hate mail about the cover to apologize for the cover choice and called the cover a “terrible mistake.”

Apparently, Shape readers were not happy that someone who has admitted to cheating on her ex-husband (Dean Sheremet with then-married CSI actor Eddie Cibrian) was being praised on the magazine’s cover. They also seem to not have liked the sympathetic tone of the caption: “LeAnn Rimes: How Working Out Saved Me.”

TooFab obtained the email signed by the magazine’s editor-in-chief, Valerie Latona which was sent to the disgruntled readers. The email reads in part:

Please know that our putting [LeAnn Rimes] on the cover was not meant to put a husband-stealer on a pedestal-but to show (through her story) how we all are human. And this woman in particular found strength in exercise in what she said was her most difficult personal moment.

But it did not come across that way … And for that I’m terribly sorry.

Wow: “husband-stealer.” The email doesn’t mince words, does it?
