Dublin redefined ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ for Axl Rose and Guns N’ Roses on Wednesday night. Rose stormed off stage at Dublin’s O2 Arena after the unruly Irish crowd threw glass bottles at him for showing up an hour and a half late, ruining the night for thousands of nostalgic fans. The crowd was booing (loudly and profanely) before the music even started, and Rose stopped the show immediately after the bottles were thrown at the stage during the first song.

Sandra Bullock Named Most Powerful Actress On The Planet

Other than her marriage ending, this has been an amazing year for Sandra Bullock. She won an Oscar, adopted her first child and topped Forbes’ list of top ten highest paid actresses.

If all that were not enough, Bullock now graces the cover of EW with the caption: “What’s Next for Sandra? She’s now the Most Powerful Actress on the Planet.”

Crash co-writer/director, Paul Haggis, says about Bullock: “I remember right after Crash, I was pitching Sandra Bullock to a studio for another dramatic role and they went, ‘I don’t know, America doesn’t think of her this way’. Now those same people want her for everything. It’s hysterical.”

A high ranking film agent says about Bullock: “She’s getting offered all the scripts that matter. Everyone is rooting for her. I’ve never seen anything like it.”

Bullock herself says about her up and down career: “You have really high peaks and you have some valleys. The nice thing is that something like The Proposal gives you is you get to say, ‘Okay, I’ve done it. Something wonderful happened.’ But you can’t always have wonderful things, one after the other so just be happy with what you’ve got and that’s it.”
