True Blood Ending After its Seventh Season

HBO announced today that True Blood‘s seventh season which will run through next summer will be the show’s last. The cable channel’s president of programming Michael Lombardo said in a statement, “True Blood has been nothing short of a defining show for HBO. Scott Foley Appears On Extra, Talks Nude Scenes On True Blood [PHOTOS]

Scott Foley made an unannounced visit to the set of Extra Wednesday for an interview with Renee Bargh of Extra.

I don’t know about you, but when I see Scott, I think Henry from ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’ But Scott has long since moved on and will be appearing this season on ‘True Blood.’
Scott told Renee that in preparation for his new role, he worked out for months, thinking he will have to do many nude scenes. He says he was bummed that he never got to get naked with anyone on the show but admitted his wife was probably happy about the situation. Cute.

Alexander Skarsgard On TV Nudity & Boning Seasons

Designated as Sweden’s Sexiest Man Alive for five years, Alexander Skarsgard, who gets naked a lot in True Blood, does not understand why Americans get so frigid when it comes to nude scenes on TV.

“[Parents] in the States freak out if their kids see a nipple or a butt cheek, but at the same time they’re OK with their kids watching people bash each other’s heads in with baseball bats,” the actor says in the latest issue of Out magazine.

Skarsgard comes from a place where nudity isn’t that big a deal. He says that may be due to the “cold dark winters” in Sweden. He joked:

“That’s the boning season. And then it’s spring, and that’s also boning season. And summer’s the best boning season.”

As if that isn’t clear enough, Alexander concluded: “We f-ck a lot.”

When asked what the strangest fan interaction he’s ever had is, Joe told Mario since werewolf saliva has healing powers, a fan once asked him to lick one of her wounds. Awesome.
