The X Factor’s Rachel Crow Gushes Over American Idol’s Joshua Ledet

SPOTTED: The X Factor finalist Rachel Crow ran into American Idol finalist Joshua Ledet last night after the Idol semifinals.

Funny coincidence that the two met on a night that Joshua sang I’d Rather Go Blind by Etta James which Rachel had also performed during her time on The X Factor. Sadly, Rachel performed that song as her ‘save me song’ on the night that she ended up being eliminated.

Crow could not stop gushing over how well Joshua rendered his interpretation of the James classic. Watch Joshua’s performance here.

Rachel Crow did not make The X Factor semifinals because Nicole Scherzinger decided to send the vote on saving either her or Marcus Canty into Deadlock when she could have cast the final vote to save Rachel.

After the fact, Rachel’s mentor, Simon Cowell, spoke to reporters this week saying, “I think it’s quite clear that it’s down to three people now. And it’s Melanie, Josh and Chris.” Continue reading →

We had a shocking ouster of Rachel Crow on tonight’s episode of The X Factor USA (December 8, 2011) when Nicole Scherzinger was too indecisive on who to send home.

With the judges vote standing at 2-1 to send Marcus Canty home over Rachel, Nicole refused to vote, sending the decision into Deadlock. At that moment, the contestant with the lowest fan vote, Rachel was sent home. Continue reading →
