Janet, Jermaine and Randy Jackson were absent because they were against holding the concert during the same time as Dr. Conrad Murray’s manslaughter trial.

Randy and Jermaine Tweeted: “While we wholeheartedly support the spirit of a tribute that honors our brother, we find it impossible to support an event that is due to take place during the criminal trial surrounding Michael’s death.”

The Black Eyed Peas dropped out last minute and Jennifer Hudson did not make it, but Ne-Yo, Jamie Foxx,  Leona Davis, Beyonce (via video), Christina Aguilera, and Cee Lo Green all performed.
