Bryan Singer has given us a first behind-the-scenes glimpse of Jennifer Lawrence in full makeup and costume for The X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Lawrence is shown in the photo wearing full body makeup as Mystique.  The filmmaker Tweeted this photo while describing the character as “vengeful.”

Lawrence returns for the new film along with fellow First Class cast members James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult and Michael Fassbender.

Since Days of Future Past combines the prequel with the original trilogy, Ellen Page, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman and Halle Berry will also be featured in the flick. The movie will hit theaters July 18, 2014.
