The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills aired its season 3 finale and first part of the cast reunion last night (March 25, 2013). Below is a full recap of RBOH Episode 19 Finale and Reunion part 1:

When last we left the 90210, Brandi and Faye were arguing at Lisa’s housewarming/vow renewal party. Faye is continuing to audition for one of the empty slots next season by stirring the pot with old business that has nothing to do with her.

Faye accused Brandi of wrecking Adrienne and Paul’s marriage. As Brandi so eloquently put it Faye put her “big, fat f***ing dick on the table” Once the “morally corrupt” (best line ever, thank you Camille Grammer) Faye finished with Brandi and moves on to her next target, Lisa. She accuses Lisa of using Brandi as her mouthpiece and keeping her hands clean by having Brandi do all of the dirty work and fight her battles for her. Lisa is shocked that Faye is being rude to her at her own party and she waits for Kyle to come to her aid, but true to form Kyle opts to stay out of the argument and eventually tries to defend Faye, even telling the cameras that a lot of people think that Lisa uses Brandi but Faye is the only one brave enough to say it to Lisa’s face.

Before Lisa and Ken can make it to the altar to renew the vows and celebrate their 30 years of marriage, another guest arrives…Adrienne. She and Paul’s divorce was just announced earlier that day, so Kyle, Kim and Camille crowd around her to offer their support. Meanwhile, Lisa and Ken fume that Ms. Maloof showed up to their party and didn’t even bother to say hello.  This is the last time we will see Adrienne. After a quick cry and pep talk with the ladies she leaves the party, telling everyone to say hello to Lisa for her. She later tells the cameras that Lisa is cold for not coming over and checking on her. Umm.. excuse me you show up to someone’s anniversary party to talk about your divorce and don’t even bother to greet the hostess, but you expect her to come to you. It’s her party at her house you should at least walk over and say hello to her. Good riddance Adrienne.

Eventually Lisa and Ken are able to have their ceremony and renew their vows, with Ken lovingly telling his wife “I will obey you…I have always loved you, and probably never deserved you.”  The season ends on a high note with everyone celebrating the happy couple on their special night. The show closes with notes from the producers about what each woman has been doing since the season ended.

Lisa is competing on Dancing with the Stars.

Kyle’s new store is thriving and it is right down the streets from Lisa’s restaurant but the two don’t do lunch. Obviously they have not kissed and made up. Kyle also appeared with her sister Kim on a celebrity diving show and it “brought them closer than they’ve been in years.”

Yolanda is undergoing treatment for Lyme disease.

Adrienne is dating Rod Stewart’s 32 year old son and her ex-husband Paul is dating a 27 year old former Miss Nevada. Paul also attended Brandi’s 40th birthday party at Lisa’s restaurant Sur. Adrienne was not invited.

Taylor is “madly in love with her attorney friend… who isn’t quite divorced yet.” LOL. You can’t say Bravo producers don’t have sense of humor.

Now, part 1 of the reunion. At the beginning of the show, reunion ringleader Andy Cohen announced “Well, today we are missing one of the Housewives who’s been with us since the beginning. Adrienne Maloof has decided not to participate today,” Cohen said. “This season was hard on Adrienne, as you all know. A secret about her family was revealed by Brandi, and from that moment on, Adrienne refused to speak directly about it. We know that frustrated you in the audience, it frustrated all of us too. Adrienne won’t be here to tell her side of the story. Not only is she absent tonight, but she won’t be on the show next season. Adrienne Maloof’s final act as a Housewife was NOT showing up tonight.”

Adrienne wrote on her blog that she decided to leave the show voluntarily, Lisa Vanderpump thinks otherwise and told US weekly, “I think you have to understand that when you sign up for something, it’s a job, you know? The reunion is where you go and everything comes to fruition and you hash it out. And viewers want that the same way they want us to blog. . . So yeah, she got the hoof! She says she walked away, but she didn’t. She got the big Maloof hoof! And you can quote me on that!” Yolanda also alludes to Adrienne’s exit not being entirely by choice. In her Bravotv blog she writes, “I am glad Andy set the rule straight, you don’t show up, you’ll get fired.”

Adrienne defended her reasons for sitting the reunion show out, while at a event in Los Angeles last week Maloof told reporters,  “I think that Andy has to understand that Paul and I were under a gag order from the court system, not to be able to speak about our marriage, our children, our divorce, so, therefore, since that was the whole season there wasn’t really much to talk about. And knowing me being so passionate about my family and my kids, I didn’t trust myself, because I have that fiery instinct and I just didn’t want to take that chance.”

During the reunion, Brandi defended her attack on Adrienne this season, saying that Adrienne had wanted her to lie about some things at the reunion last season and when Brandi didn’t do what she wanted Adrienne began selling stories about her to the press. Brandi summed up her feelings with the tact and class we have come to expect from her “She started it. I fight back, that’s what I do. I’m a happy, sweet, fun-loving person until you cross me and then I will f***ing cut a bitch.” When asked why Adrienne would be on a reality show if there were aspects of her life she wanted to hide, Brandi offered her opinion, “Money can buy a lot of things but it can’t buy fame and that is what she wanted desperately.”

Another hot topic during the reunion was Lisa and Kyle’s deteriorating friendship. Lisa said that she believes Kyle’s behavior towards her changed after Kyle’s husband Mauricio got the listing to sell Lisa and Ken’s Beverly Hills estate. Lisa also infers that the same happened once Mauricio sold Adrienne and Paul’s home, calling the friendship a “business relationship that needed to be nurtured.” Kyle did not take kindly to being accused of trading friendship for money and told Lisa that she was friends with her well before any real estate was discussed and Lisa is the one who has been cold and distant to her. Kyle did admit that she does not speak with Adrienne much anymore, and was never really that close to her to begin with which seems odd since she spent most of this season defending her and spent the season finale crying with Adrienne over her divorce. “She wasn’t there to speak for herself and it felt weird to have everyone say all of these negative things and to sit quiet.” That seems odd since “sit quiet” is exactly what Kyle did every time someone attacked Lisa. Kyle is offended by Lisa’s accusation and tells her “You so badly want everyone to think that I am this person that I’m not. Maybe if I look worse that makes you look better.” Lisa tells Kyle that their relationship has changed and they are not as close as they once were.

Earlier this week when Lisa was asked about her strained relationship with her former bestie, the outspoken Brit had this to say, “I’ve been through the reunion last year and I was ganged up on and I had a huge amount of support from the audience, and I really felt this time I wasn’t going to take it lying down. I was going to stand up and say, ‘Hey, this is what’s going on,’ and I felt the way the whole thing played out this season — you saw it — the loyalties were divided. And I’m not like that. You’ve got to pick one side of the fence. You sit on the fence too long, you get splinters in your ass!”

The reunion ended with the Richards sisters taking shots at Yolanda. Kyle and Kim accused her of talking about Lisa behind her back and telling Kim that Lisa didn’t care about her and was only faking sympathy for Kim’s many issues. Kyle then attacked Yolanda for saying one thing to her face and then writing something completely different in her blog. The reunion ended with Kyle accusing Yolanda of calling Lisa a phony and “full of s**t” while they were in Paris.

Yolanda of course took to her blog last night and was not shy about her feelings about the devilish duo of Kim and Kyle. It was uncomfortable to sit on the couch and be confronted by two sisters that all of a sudden pretended to be united after they fought the entire season. I am not going to waste more of my time on the Richards sisters. At this point their behavior speaks for itself. The fact that they have never shown any interest in cultivating a friendship or in my well-being is just another confirmation of their lack of interest in others. Kim and Kyle are about Kim and Kyle and that is where it ends!”

Next week- the epic conclusion of the reunion!
